Location: Ontario, Canada | I spent a few hours, (short since Lena's O2 was lower than normal and her HR was higher-they took her SATS after blood pressure.. ) up at the ER today. I was concerned Lena was starting with a bladder infection.. her urine smelt awful and was dark. Since she's had some issues with swelling I wasn't taking a chance. They tested the urine, it came back clear.. well then I watched Lena for the remainder of the day. She napped, got up dry and REFUSED the potty.. it occured to me.. she's holding her pee, probably due to an accident she had where she peed on the floor the other day... She was so upset about it...
Anyone got any ideas on how to make her more comfortable. It just put potty training back probably right to the beginning... and how does one make a hard of hearing child pee when they don't want to? Running water doesn't really work if she doesn't hear it!! | |

AND I AM NOT SURE THE NAME FOR THIS...LITTLE GIRLS CAN HAVE THE VERY THIN SKIN IN THE VAGINAL AREA GROW TOGETHER...
NOTHING SERIOUS, AND EASILY FIXED, I THINK WITH A "HORMONE CREAM", BUT I WOULD CHECK THIS JUST FOR SAFETY SAKE...BECAUSE IF THERE IS A
PROBLEM, AND THE URINE IS NOT GETTING OUT CLEARLY, IT CAN REFLUX, AND CAUSE A MAJOR PROBLEM...
